Welcome

It doesn’t seem possible that a year has gone already. My tenure as President of the WARC will be over on June 28^th when the new President is installed. I think our club has made some great strides forward this year and the coming year we have a lot to build on. We have gained two new members, young and energetic, who are ready to get out into the communities we serve. We have added a new fundraiser, the Basket Bingo, which will be held again this fall. The Bingo was a lot of fun and we anticipate this years event to be even better. At our Thanksgiving Dinner, we were honored to have members of Fort Dix’s Charlie Company as our guests. These brave soldiers were recuperating from being wounded in battle, but were unable to be at home for the holidays. Our website has been up and running for almost a year now. It has proven to be a great asset, allowing our club to show what we do and why. You can log on and see Marine SSgt. Andrew Robinson receiving a Paul Harris Fellowship from the club and a citation from Assemblyman Ron Dancer. You can see Pastor Bob of the Rose of Sharon Lutheran Church in Jacobstown receive a $2000 grant from the club for their Food Pantry. The goal of the Rotary is to serve our community, both locally and globally. Please consider joining us in service and fellowship.
